This sermon is based on the hymn "Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel," and looks at the themes that are brought out in the lyrics. You'll have to suffer through my singing. I hope I'm not that bad. If I am confess my sins and plead for forgiveness.

A Mighty Fortress
As part of our celebration of Reformation Sunday, we had a group of recorder players play for the hymn "A Mighty Fortress." It was absolutely beautiful. Here is the recorder of their playing.
Those in the group, which I (Vicar Tim) have dubbed the "Bethany Recorders" include: Julie Bellrose (Soprano), Cindy Genest (Soprano), Carol Hentze (Alto), Kristin Schneider (Tenor) and Pastor Tom (Bass).
(Note: I'm sorry about the clicks, I'm not sure what happened or how to get rid of them. I tried several times.)

Myth That "Dead People go to a Better Place" - Oct 17, 2010
Sermon for last week. There were some problems with the audio as I had placed the recorder in my pocket so you hear rustling. Still figuring this out... :)
